As a Cook at Kidz R Us Learning Academy, you'll prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks that fuel children's growth and development.
You'll help create a positive mealtime experience while ensuring every meal meets nutritional guidelines and follows all New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) food service requirements.Your responsibilities include planning and preparing daily menus, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, managing food inventory, receiving deliveries, monitoring food safety procedures, and accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies.
You'll work closely with classroom staff to ensure meals are served on schedule and that every child receives safe, nutritious food in a caring environment.We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and passionate about serving children through healthy meals and exceptional food safety practices. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, and understands the important role nutrition plays in early childhood development.
